ScrumByte Digital Products License & Terms

This website and its associated digital products are operated by Scrumbyte (“Scrumbyte”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By purchasing, accessing, or downloading any digital product from ScrumByte, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our products.

1. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase a Scrumbyte digital product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials under the terms outlined below.

Permitted Use

  • You may use the templates, frameworks, and materials within your own organization or internal projects.
  • You may adapt and customize the materials for internal operational use.

Restricted Use

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the materials, in whole or in part
  • Publish the materials publicly (websites, repositories, communities, marketplaces)
  • Package the materials into another product for sale
  • Distribute the materials as free downloads or giveaways
  • Share access with third parties outside your organization

Consultant Usage

  • Use of templates across multiple client engagements is permitted only for customers who have purchased them. Consultant usage is limited to delivering professional services and does not grant resale or redistribution rights.

Any usage outside these terms requires prior written approval from Scrumbyte.

2. Intellectual Property

All digital products, templates, frameworks, documents, and supporting materials are the intellectual property of Scrumbyte, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Purchasing a product grants a license to use, not ownership.
  • All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by ScrumByte.

Unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution may result in license revocation and legal action.

3. Digital Delivery and Access

  • All Scrumbyte products are delivered digitally.
  • Access details or download links are provided after successful payment.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you can access and store digital files securely.

4. Refund Policy (Digital Goods)

Due to the nature of digital products:

  • All sales are final once the product has been accessed or downloaded, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
  • Refunds are not provided for:
    • Change of mind
    • Misunderstanding of product scope
    • Failure to read product descriptions

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions and sample content before purchasing.

5. Support and Updates

Support Scope

Support is limited to:

  • Technical assistance with downloads or access
  • Clarification on template structure and intended usage

Support does not include:

  • Customization or implementation services
  • Consulting or advisory services
  • Audit, certification, or compliance guarantees
    unless explicitly included in the purchased offering.

Updates

  • Product updates, where applicable, will be specified at the time of purchase.
  • Unless stated otherwise, updates are provided free of charge for 12 months from the purchase date.

6. Acceptable Use and Enforcement

Scrumbyte reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or revoke access for license violations
  • Withdraw support in cases of misuse, abuse, or inappropriate behavior
  • Take enforcement action where intellectual property is misused

7. Limitation of Liability

All Scrumbyte products are provided “as is” and for guidance purposes only.

Scrumbyte shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the digital products, including business interruption or loss of data.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of state of Telangana, India.
Any disputes arising from the use of Scrumbyte products or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana - India.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or downloading any ScrumByte digital product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service.
